This entire site is now dedicated to the great Joe Strummer, who sadly died 3 days before Christmas.

Joe was the Lead Singer/Guitarist/Writer for the band ..."The Clash." The most honest band of all time ... they changed lives. Certainly mine for sure. Without them in fact, this site would not exist as my music would not exist. Joe Strummer inspired me long after others had fallen away. Indeed, my favourite song of all is the track "Broadway" from their 80's triple album "Sandinista." For me, this unique song is the very epitomy of optimism and positivity.

Tony Parsons of The Mirror called him "A brilliant musician, a beautiful man and a charismatic artist." He also said about Joe, "He was a diamond...and they don't make them like that anymore."
