After the last update in the Autumn with exciting plans to take everything forward, Jayl suddenly found himself in a war with some very evil people. Jayl has fought tirelessly for many years in the City of Gloucester to preserve and conserve trees, wildlife and old buildings. Indeed, he has been an active member of Gloucestershire Heritage & Conservation and together with friends in this organization, trees have been saved, gardens have been stopped from being paved over and the bandstand in Gloucester Park has not been demolished (the battle contiinues). However, unbeknown to Jayl, he made enemies in the council, amongst developers and with the businesses bent on the destruction of the local area.

Finally, the absentee landlord of Jayl's Underground Studio turned up after 14 years and turned out to be worse than the local developers. Chopping down trees, destroying the gardens and hedges, making horrendous amounts of noise and acting like a meglomaniac - making everyone's life a misery. As a warrior, Jayl will never stand by and just allow bullies to ride roughshod over people's lives and he challenged all the bad things that were being done. As a consequence of this, the landlord teamed up with all the other local businesses and developers and began a campaign of vicious persecution against Jayl & Niki that lasted all of the autumn and early winter. In the end Jayl & Niki had no choice but to move on. Fortunately, Jayl & Niki have hundreds more friends than enemies, and these great friends rallied around to help Jayl & Niki not only to move on, but to set up a new studio and home, well out of the way of these greedy and evil people. Furthermore, Jayl is already preparing and implementing exciting new plans to take his music, The Dance of Life and his Harmony School to even greater heights! WATCH THIS SPACE!

Before Jayl left Gloucester, he composed a poem in honour of his famous Underground Studio @ Sherborne House in Spa Road, Gloucester and the amazing people who shared this house with him over 15 years. As always, even in the face of adversity, Jayl was still creating, still moving forward.
